Yamaha visit young womens night at Two wheel centre

Hull Youth Development Service - Two Wheel Centre presented with new equipment from Yamaha through 5-Ways Motorcycles

The members at Two Wheel Centre has recently benifited from funding recieved from the Youth Opportunity Fund(YOF) and Youth Capital Fund(YCF).Various groups of young people who access the centre put in a variety of bids with the support of the Motor Project staff, these bids varied from new vehicles, tools and equipment, trips out to other motorsport venues, graffitti projects, major landscaping work to the centres off road areas, decking project, Plasma screen TV's, projectors and Sky TV etc. In total the Motor Projects in Hull have benifited from over £70,000 in the last 9 months.

On Tuesday 16th October, Don Brown - Area sales manager for Yamaha Motorcycles along with Gareth & Tim from 5-Ways Motorcycles, came to present the latest fleet of vehicles to the young people of the centre on the young womens night. Also present to support the event was Gary McManus (Head of Intergrated Youth Services), John Gardner (Youth Service - Achieve manger) and Dean Davis ( Hull Youth Development Service manager & responcible for YOF & YCF).

The YCF & YOF in Hull has been a great success in enabling young people to have an influence in places to go and things to do.
